| บทคัดย่อโครงการวิจัย :: |
This research aims to study depression among soldiers at wing 23 Udonthani. The participants were 225 soldiers. Method of data collection was done through interviewing the soldiers individually. The statistics used in the analysis of quantities data includes percentage, median, and standard deviation. As of qualitative data used content analysis, 96.57% responded.
This study showed that out of 225 soldiers that participated in this research study 164 soldiers were found not depressed (72.88%). However there were 61 soldiers were at risk to depression (27.11%). 26 soldiers (42.62%) showed no symptoms of depression or depressive disorders. With low depression level reflected were 23 soldiers (37.70%), moderate depression 7 soldiers (11.48%) and severe depressive symptoms 5 soldiers (8.20%) respectively. Factors that were found in this research study mainly were upon enlisted in the service unit; the military training conducted; living condition of the soldiers; the transition from a civilians to become a military officer to live and work with many others daily and limited activities.
